Model (scale 1:48). This pioneer motor-ship was built in Amsterdam by the Nederlandsche Scheepbouw Maatscappij (Netherlands Shipbuilding Company) for the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co Ltd and she was notable as the first motor-driven oil tanker. She was fitted for the transport of three different grades of oil, and had special pumps which could unload the cargo at a rate of 100 tons, or 24,000 gallons per hour.
