Manufactured by Dista. A packet of the anti-depressant drug Prozac (Fluoxetine Hydrochloride). Prozac works as an anti-depressant by prolonging the action of the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain. It was first released in 1987, and was hailed as a psychiatric ‘miracle drug’, with the fastest ever growth in uptake in the United States for any psychiatric drug. More recently, however, concern has grown about Prozac’s side effects.
