Lithograph by Roger & Cie of Paris, 1839, after an original drawing by Emile Lassalle, c 1830s. The English botanist Philip Barker Webb (1793-1854) travelled in Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain as well as Morocco and Brazil, collecting botanical specimens. He also wrote one of the most important works on the natural history of the Canary Islands. Dimensions: 230mm x 290mm.
