‘Living Made Easy: Revolving Hat’, 1830.

Hand-coloured etching by T McLean of a light-hearted idea for revolving hats that would provide their wearers with eyeglasses, spectacles, hearing trumpets, scent boxes, etc as required. Thomas McLean was a publisher of satirical prints which lampooned fashions of the day.
