London, Midland & Scottish 0-4-0 locomotive number 10617, 17 April 1925. This locomotive was built in 1911 at Horwich works, Lancashire. This engine was part of a steam rail motor and had a carriage joined to the back of it. Rail motors were self propelled passenger units, comprising of one vehicle or a multiple unit.
