Inside Euston tube station, London, 1908. The tube station, on the Euston & Hampstead Railway, now the Victoria line, was opened in 1907, going as far as Highgate and Hampstead. The building of good rail links between London and surrounding towns meant that people could live further from their place of work because they could travel more easily.
