Delivery van, 1933.

London, Midland & Scottish Railway delivery van being loaded up with sections of piping. The piping is to be wrapped in straw before being transported. Fragile objects that were transported by rail had to be packaged very carefully before being loaded onto trains. They had to be wrapped up well and tightly packed to avoid breakages.
