One of a set of teaching cards published by James Reynolds & Sons, London, England around 1851. Titled 'The Earth's Annual Revolution round the Sun', the chart was drawn and engraved by John Emslie. This astronomical diagram illustrates the mechanism responsible for the Earth's seasons as it makes it yearly passage around the Sun.
